My Work

Explore a selection of my past audio post-production projects showcasing the versatility and quality of my work.
Film Sound Design

I crafted an immersive sound experience for a feature-length documentary, enriching its emotional depth and amplifying the impact of its narrative.

For this project, I managed the complete audio post-production process. My work included thorough dialogue cleanup, precise music timing adjustments to better fit the film, and sourcing and adding over 90% of the sound effects. The final mix was delivered in multiple formats: Stereo, a louder stereo web mix, and 5.1 surround.

I provided separate stems for Dialogue, Music, and SFX, as well as combined Music & SFX stems. Additionally, I delivered five grouped SFX stems for greater flexibility and control in the final mix. All stems were provided in Stereo, Stereo web mix, and 5.1 interleaved and multiple mono formats, ensuring versatility and compatibility for the client’s needs.

Movie Trailer Sound Design

I designed and produced impactful soundscapes for a movie trailer, elevating its emotional tone and immersing viewers in the cinematic experience.

For this movie trailer, I managed the entire audio post-production process. My work included meticulous dialogue editing, carefully adjusting music cues to enhance key moments, and sourcing and integrating sound effects to maximize the trailer’s impact. The final mixes were delivered in Stereo, a dedicated stereo web mix, and 5.1 surround formats.

To provide flexibility for the client, I supplied individual stems for Dialogue, Music, and SFX, as well as combined Music & SFX stems., ensuring the trailer could be adapted for various platforms and uses. All elements were delivered in multiple formats to guarantee optimal sound quality and compatibility.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here you can find answers to common questions about my audio post-production services.

I provide high-caliber audio post-production services for film, documentaries, commercials, television, podcasts, and gaming. My work includes professional dialogue editing, spectral noise restoration, custom sound design, expert Foley curation, and final mixing. I deliver standard Stereo Cinematic mixes, Louder Optimized Stereo Web mixes for social media/streaming, 5.1 Surround Sound, and fully immersive Dolby Atmos audio mixes.

Yes, I mix in full Dolby Atmos spatial audio. My delivery format for Atmos is the industry-standard ADM BWF (Audio Definition Model Broadcast Wave File) master. This master file contains all beds, spatial objects, and metadata required for theatrical distribution or premium streaming platforms like Netflix and Apple TV. Please note: I supply the completed Atmos audio master; your video editor or DCP finishing house will embed this file into your final video print or DCP container.

Getting started is simple. First, ensure your project has achieved final "Picture Lock" (your video edit is 100% complete and will not change). Next, review our Asset Delivery Guide to ensure your video editor properly formats your AAF/OMF timeline files and reference video. Once your files are ready, use our contact form to submit your project details.

You can request a custom project estimate by filling out the form In my Contact section. To give you an accurate quote, please provide the total runtime of the project, the genre (e.g., documentary, narrative short, feature film), the current state of the production audio, and whether you require a Stereo mix, a 5.1 Surround mix, an immersive Dolby Atmos mix, or a combination.

Turnaround times vary depending on the length and sonic complexity of the project. A short film or commercial may take 3 to 5 business days, while a feature-length documentary or indie film typically requires 2 to 4 weeks. Once I review your raw AAF/OMF files and project scope, I will provide a guaranteed delivery schedule in your contract.

Absolutely. You can listen to and watch some of my recent film work and listen to some audio before-and-after samples in the My Work section of this site. My recent audio post-production work includes the documentary feature film Unbroken Spirit by director Richard Burns, which is currently heading into theatrical showings.

Every project package includes exactly two (2) rounds of consolidated revisions within the original scope of work. A "round" means you compile all feedback from your director, producers, and editors into a single, comprehensive list. Please note that revisions require additional time beyond the original guaranteed delivery date to execute properly. Any structural or creative changes requested after the second round is finalized will be billed at my standard hourly post-production rate.

"Picture Lock" must be final. If a re-edit occurs after the audio mixing process has begun, it requires a Conform Session. Re-aligning my audio timeline, automation, and Foley to match a new video edit is a highly technical, time-consuming process. Conforming to a new video cut will incur an additional fee based on the complexity and length of the changes.

No. Standard packages include the final print masters and individual audio stems (DX, MX, FX, M&E), which are fully sufficient for any future distribution or foreign-language dubbing needs. Raw Pro Tools sessions, internal routing data, and plugin configurations are my proprietary intellectual property and are not included unless explicitly negotiated in writing before the project begins.

I require a 50% non-refundable upfront deposit to secure your spot in my studio schedule. The remaining 50% balance is due upon your approval of the final mix, prior to the delivery of the uncompressed, high-resolution master folders and stems.

Prepping Your Project for Audio Post

Before exporting any audio, your video edit must be Picture Locked. Any changes to the timeline structure or clip positions after the audio mix begins will cause synchronization issues and incur additional conform fees.

Please have your editor quickly organize the video timeline before exporting:

Group Like Tracks: Keep all Dialogue tracks together at the top, followed by Sound Effects (SFX), Foley, and Music tracks at the bottom.

Remove Muted Clips: Delete any disabled, muted, or hidden audio clips that are not intended for the final mix.

I accept both AAF and OMF formats, though AAF is highly preferred for modern workflows. Use the following export settings in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Avid:

Format: AAF (Preferred) or OMF 2.0.

Target Sample Rate: 48 kHz.

Target Bit Depth: 24-bit.

Files: Choose External / Separate Audio (this generates a small timeline file accompanied by an "Audio Files" folder). Do not choose "Embedded" unless the project is a very short film or commercial.

Handle Length: Minimum 60 Frames to 120 Frames. (This gives me enough audio handles before and after every cut to smoothly crossfade and clean up room tone).

I need a visual reference to sync the audio perfectly. Please export a low-resolution reference video using these specs:

Codec: H.264 or Apple ProRes (Proxy).

Resolution: 1920x1080 or lower (Keep file size manageable).

Burn-In Timecode (BITC): Mandatory. Ensure a clear, visible timecode counter is burned into the top or bottom of the video frame.

Guide Audio: Include the editor’s scratch track or rough assembly mix on the video file.

Upload the folder to a secure file transfer service (such as MASV, WeTransfer, or Dropbox) and send the download link directly to me.

I can also sent you a WeTransfer link if you don't have your own transfer service.
